Non-Bank & FDIC Disclosure

Grain is a financial technology company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services are provided by Erebor Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. FDIC deposit insurance protects funds only against the failure of an FDIC-insured bank; it does not protect against the failure of Grain. Deposits placed through Grain may be eligible for FDIC insurance up to applicable limits, provided certain conditions for pass-through insurance are satisfied.

Stablecoin Risk

Grain offers access to USDC, USDT, and USAT, stablecoins. USDC, USDT, and USAT are not bank deposits, are not insured by the FDIC, and are not guaranteed by Erebor Bank, N.A. or any other financial institution. The value of USDC, USDT, and USAT depends on the reserves backing the stablecoin. Stablecoin holdings are subject to different risks than FDIC-insured deposits. Banking services, including FDIC-insured deposit accounts, are separately available through Erebor Bank, N.A., Member FDIC.

Payment Services

Payment services, including ACH and wire transfers, are provided through Erebor Bank, N.A. Transfers are subject to processing times, transaction limits, and fees as disclosed at the time of transaction. Grain is not a bank and does not directly process payments. Funds in transit are not FDIC-insured until they are deposited into an FDIC-insured account at a receiving institution.
